St. Stephen's Theological College

St Stephen's College is located in Edmonton, Alberta, on the main campus of The University of Alberta. In 1908, the Methodist Church in Edmonton founded a Faculty of Theology on the site of Alberta’s new provincial university, and erected one of the university’s first buildings. And so the college which was to be named ‘St Stephen’s’ was born. There have been a great many changes in the church and university since 1908, but the commitment of St Stephen’s College to theological education which is marked by flexibility, creativity and excellence has continued without faltering for a century. And so we celebrate! You are warmly invited to join us in this community of education for transformation!
